1st time ever growing

so i put 7 droplets of shults formula 10 15 10 for each plants because that what the directions said to do. the plants have started to burn in some places but for the most part alot of them look healthy i hope 10 15 10 formula is good it says its good for herbs and i love herbs but im going to up load pictures in a little bit

yea its only on one plant idk whats up i think i might be over watering it but the plants are about 3-4 week old and im using a z140 i think it is but ill take a picture and upload it

what is a z140
is it a hps mh or cfl?
i dont think its geting enough light or the right light from the streching its doing.

its hps and its at the top of the closet and the plants are at the bottom so thats probably why its stretching so much do you think i should lower the lights i just dont want to burn them and do you think that was the right nutriants to give them 10 15 10 shultz

need light lower to plants and more light for one. I've become partial to CFL's cheap and easy and I've got great results. During Veg I run at least 4 27watt 5500K or more cfl's and during flowering 4 27watt 2700k-3500k cfl's.

ya i would lower it to find out if to close just put ur hand in the middle of the plant and light if it burns ur hand then it will burn the plant as long as ur hand dont burn then ur fine.how many watts is that light?depending on the watts lumens and k and how far from the plant u should be fine cause of the small area.and nutes u could go to the growfaqs up on top of thise page and there should guide u to everything u need to know about anything u want to know.hope that helps.

the grow faqs are wicked confusing but i found online that the 10 15 10 is ment for flowering but fuck it im just gonna give it to em once or twice before flowering and as for the light situation i have more lights at my house that im going to bring over im not positive to what kind they are but i had all the light at the beginning so im thinking ill just put all the lights back on it but ill keep it updated with more picture probably with in 2 days and hopefully im on the right track with this shit or ill be real frustrated

trust me i know what u r talking about
everytime i see smething wrong with mine i get upset.
i just cleaned my closet i mean scrubed the wall swept the floor cleaned the surface where i have the plants even cleaned the housing that holds the light.
i even went and gone in th pot and started to dig up slowly and carefully the soil and make it more fluffy and loser.
i have probs going on with my plants and i dont know whats going on now.
i dont know anymore but i have 1 that just sprouted and like 5 more seeds greming right now just in case i dont want to lose my bigger plants.but who knows.
i dont know i thougt the grow faqs were pritty ok helped me out on certain things i think might be a little bit confusing but all and all ok and helpfull

yea the growfaqs are helpful i just felt they were a little confusing and as for why i put so many in one pot wasnt my fault i had a buddy come over with some of his seeds and he put them in while i was donw stair so i was just like fuck it will see what happens but idk some of my plants look extremely healthy its just that one that looks like shit i just have to make sure all the others dont follow in its foots step but ill put a fan over it if you think that might help it. its just that their stretched out so much that alot of wind makes them fall to the side.

Thats what i was afraind of. :arrow:next time around, send ur buddy to the store when ur planting or somethin, and keep a fan on em 24/7. With ur plants all together like that, they're fighting for space and for nutrients down there in the soil.

yea i figured they would weed each other out and only like one or two would grow but they all came in so i gotta deal with it. whats gonna suck is if i get alot of males im going to have to take them out and thats gonna be a bitch. but theyre not doing that bad right now except for that one but its still doesnt seem that bad. im gonna put a mini fan right next to the light to get some circulation but all i need is for it to last a couple more weeks in veg before i start flowering and i think once i start to flower hopefully ill get at least one plant to bud

u could take the plants out now and put them in there own pots
i have like 5 seeds going in a small porcalin bonsi tree pot and 4 of them sprouted 1 of the 4 died quick but the other 3 grow real nice one was up to almost 12 inches but was streched cuz i didnt have good lighting i was useing the sun to grow em
and the other 2 were close to that size too and then i repoted them wasnt that hard to do wih the roots and all went out pritty good and easy

i wouldnt use them
they dont give a good even flow of water everywhere and it just relizie when the spot the the hole is on that glass thing is dry not the hole pot and it does only the underneath part of the pot and not even all of it
not a good watering system.
