yeah, i got ya...it was about the shade leaves...i read what you pupt on warmhands thread about branches light and leaves, that is exaclty how ill do it, my light is about 3 ft over them and it seems to be making the plants get even bushier, but they have gained a little hieght...i think im gonna go to 12/12 on new years so they can get a few more inches
IMO even with your lights anything over 45inches tall will not let light reach your bottom budsites,I no your gonna tyem but any growth 40 to 45 inches from lights lumens has decreased drastically.LUMENS DO NOT ADD UP....Say you have for example 50,000 lumens then add another 50,000 you still only have 50,000 lumens not 100,000.You have alot better spread on the 50,000.A guy did a test and had a lux meter and showed this in a thread about 4 months ago,i didnt no this till he proved it with the meter.Same with watts.
that makes sense...same as plumbing, u can only push so much water through a pipe no matter how many pumps only ft of head changes so adding more lights only gives you a larger area at x amount of lights...i measured the distant from the shortest plant to the bulb and its 33 inches, from the tallest its 25 inches....i rotate them and move the branches around through the leaves all through the day so every part of the plant gets good light...the durga have almost doubled in width in the past 3 days, im wonderin if im gonna have room in there in a week...i used to be able to sit on the floor and kick back and smoke a bone while i was online, now its gettin to where i can only kneel...since im adding another 600 i may push a wall out a ft.

shit dude! u werent joking...just two days into flower and holy crap they are pushing me out of my(their) room! had a hell of a time with temps last night...dropped down to 60...thats a 28 degree change in 24 hrs...this weather is so eft up! its cold out again so i should b ok now...the room is def easier keeping it cooled down than warmed up with the lights out....what a ssweet friuty smell that is comin form the room!..ill try to post some pics today
They will slow down vertical growth in a month,LOL, but there gonna gain 2 ft easy....
yeah im sure they will hit 2 ft...i dont think on my next grow im gonna do any topping...those plants are taking up too much room...the only non durga plant that i didnt top has a real nice christmas tree shape, thats the one in the first pic closest to the camera, it also smells skunky..
really the only person helping me is you...ive had no "real person"advice just what i gather here on this site...i dont have a meter, i havent really given them any nutes other than a 1/4 teaspoon to 3 gal of water once and foliar feed them twice...you should see the plants we used to grow in the soil when it was in mounds after they cleared the spot for the home depot...they pushed all the top soil about 100 yds behind the store in the woods...the stalks were bigger than a coke can...im wondering if ill even need the tiger bloom the frst month...this grow is totally grown through this thread and advice from this thread, the knowledge i came here with is from outdoor grows...i do have to admit, indoors is alot more work and there are many more variables with it...temps and lighting are the biggest challenge that ive learned a shitload from you dude...thankyou, im glad you think they look good, if u are impress then i can smile and know u know ur shit cuz ive done exactly what uv told me...
