Do you think I will need to run an A/C unit for (2) 600w HPS in a 8x4 room AIR cooled with 6inch duct?
How does the A/C get into the room? A duct from the AC unit into the room?
Sorry for floodin your thread, im kind of confused.
The tent is in a 12x14 ft bedroom. The bedroom also has a Veg/mother closet. The AC is in the bedroom, the Whole bedroom is controlled for temp/humidity.
The tent is set up so its basically a giant air pump, air is constantly flowing through the tent and getting filtered so the whole room is odorless.
It really depends on your setup. If you exhaust the hot air outside, then your room temps will be lower.
If you use a cold air intake, you will need Dehumidifiers.
Either way, you will benefit from being able to control your room temps.
There are some somewhat proven theories that say that environment TEMP is more important that light cycles. There have been grows flowering in 24hour light, but at night the room gets colder.
Its like how moon light doesnt cause hermies, theres other factors, I think the major one is Temps.
Every day my plants sort of 'Breathe' If I had a timelapse you could see what I mean. When the lights come on, as the temps and humidity come up, all my plants start waking up and reaching for the lights, for the first half hour you can watch them moving.
At night, the lights go out then as the temps and humidity start dropping the plants start drooping and relax, and sleep for the night.
IMHO Environment is the #1 overlooked issue with newer growers. Once you have proper control of your grow rooms environment (temp, humidity) Day and Night, you will have less problems, and better buds.
You can even eliminate chances of mold by just changing your environment to something that mold cant reproduce in. Growing can be so simple if you just do things right, and look at ALL the factors.
