wow wtf did i do??? If you have read any other of my threads you kno i was havin problems with 2 of my plants getting to tall. So everyone told me I should "super crop". Ok well I went to tie down the tops of my two girls and then one of them jus bends all the way over insted of curving around!!:wall:
Is she done for or will she recover???

Sorry the third pic is sideways but yea u can see it bent over.

Na that wont kill her.

You could support it and grow it horizontally like that. Or you could hold her upright and use a piece of wood and some tape to brace her back in a normal upright position.

Just cut it off there, make some clones. And your mother will get bushier. That is what you wanted right?

lol that's pretty funny and yet so shocking shit if i was in ur shoes. haha. well, u can still make her recover by taping the area so that it holds as it did originally. when u tape it, tape a pencil or a stick with the tape so that it's pretty stable.
I guess ur plant was pretty weak man, give some potassium to ur plants man. one thing i did to make my plants grow super thick stems is that i put the fan blowing weak wind towards to plant, so that it's trained to be strong against the wind and shit.

yea if they were gettin too big that might be good. cut her off at the node right under the break and all the lower branches will turn into smaller tops basicaly, but alot of them.

if you have space and resources you should deffinately clone out all the branches from the top that you cut off.

waste not one bit!

Yes, it will flower fine.

It will take a day or so for the leaf's to adjust to their new position relative to the light. They will turn to face it.

Well I think leaving it like that is going to stunt your growth and I think removing it it'll probably be less stressful and grow back in no time.

You may still be able to take clones if it's within 2 weeks, depending on if your strain is hard to clone.

I have heard about cloning on the branch basically what you have to do is expose the inner part of the woody and using some cloning gel just dab it on there then seal it up with a container and some rockwool or something water it and maybe just maybe you can have roots growing from there. I read you can do this and they have kits available for doing this.

Cutting it will stunt the grown alot more because the hormones that control flowering will retreat into the root mass.

Thats what happens when you cut mary while in flower.

I bent one of my indicas like this on purpose, just to see what the plant would do.

It did not hurt yield in fact it helped to open up the plant and create more tops.

The stems are very thick its just when I was pulling it down it bent like that insted of curving like the other one. The problem was they were getting to tall and close to the light so everyone on RIU told me to "super crop" and thats wat happened. So i dont want them back in the original position, but I dont want to mess her up either.

If the branch starts to hang down alot you may want to support it with some string or a bamboo rod or something.

What will happen is over the next few days the plant will start to repair the bend and it will become a small knot there at the bend. If there is too much movement it may split open.

Try to avoid that with the bracing.

when you cut the top off of a plant it rerouts the hormones to lower branch nodes. im just going off the grow bible here but thats how hormones work. it might stunt growth for a little bit but it will work.

if you dont want to cut it you shouldnt. do the tape with a pencil trick. as long as its supported and not stressing it it should be fine.

Im not gone cut it cause thats like a 1 ft clone and second of all the plant was getting to close to the light in the upright position so the pencil and tape would put me back at square one.

Not tryin to sound like an ass, i appreciate the help. + rep
