Come on guys, let's not get all pissy. No offense, but lots of people in this thread are acting like stoners in withdrawl. You know what I mean. When you wake up and you're like, "fuck I don't have any weed , fuck I don't have any money." Or "Fuck the drug dealer is out of town and I'm dry for 2 weeks AGRRRGHGHGGHGHGHGHHGGHHG!!!@#" 
It's so easy to get pissed off on the internet, and to nonchalantly tell people to basiclaly fuck off-- especially when we aren't dealing with eachother face to face. I've done it online and in person--it's usually better to do it in person, by the way
The point of this thread isn't to put down anybody. It's to discuss marijuana growing techniques.
That being said, the 2 pounds from 2 plants is very impressive. I wouldn't wait 9 months to do something like that, though. I'm just not that patient. In 9 months I can smoke my way through a pound. I understand that Kitsune was simply trying to prove a point--that with ample time, a marijuana plant can flourish indefinately. Now, he didn't say, "This is the only way and the best way to grow your marijuana." Nor did he say, "Okay everybody, fuck you if you don't grow your pot like I do." See the point??
If I had a spare grow light, I might do what you did just for the hell of it. But I'm trying to harvest quite a lot regularly, so it's definately not practical in my situation.
Now, I'm probably going to invest in a 1000 watt lamp. I found a complete setup for just over 300 dollars--quite a good deal if I might say so myself! I have to wait until I get some money. It'll probably be up and running in mid January. When that time comes, I'll post some pictures so you all can drool over it and be jealous of it. I know I'm pretty jealous of some of these people's grows on this website.
