can i use a clone for a mother plant??

growing 7 plants in a dwc all bag seed....going to clone each one to see witch is female. only prob. is that grow space is small all the roots are going to come together. so when i clone and find out what is female can i clone it in a seperate dwc and use it as a mother plant by it self?????

Yep, you can. As long as you stay within about 3 generations from the original seed (plant) then you are fine, genetically. Just dont clone clones of that clone!

my mothers always start as clones and i keep em around awhile then clone em and flower and the new clone will be a new mom i usually dnt keep a mother past the third or 4th cloned mother and i keep each mother probbably 6 months to a year but it is possible to clone a clone and clone a clones clone as many times as you want from what ive heard but ive never gone past 4 times after i grow the same thing for that long i need to find a somthing diffrnt to keep as a mom
