Ya, didn't put a lot of weight on it but I had to ask!sounds more like an opinion than a fact. but anyhow, it's your own choice. but i think if the bubbles slowed the plant THAT much, all the guys pumpin out pounds every few weeks wouldn't be able to do that. that's a fact
Yeah, I do. Adds oxygen to the air feeding the roots and helps prevent root rot as well. I'd do it if you're not.How many of you have an extra air pump and stone on your AG?
My friend said it doesn't help, I do DWC and the more oxygen the better.
I'd say it's the same for an AG but not sure, so I'll ask the experts.
Peace
100% agreed...!Yeah, I do. Adds oxygen to the air feeding the roots and helps prevent root rot as well. I'd do it if you're not.
ive had the pump running 24/7 for like 3 grows so i dont think it should be a problem, but for this grow i put it on the herb settingI have a question on my AeroGarden Deluxe - should I have the pump running 24/7 during all phases? I have a seedling right now, and I am going to run the lamp for 16-18 hours, but I'm not sure about the pump. I've seen a LOT of people say "don't overwater or you'll hurt your plant", but especially within the context of an AeroGarden, no one has quantified what "overwatering" is. What do you guys think?
Thanks!
mine never just grew around the sponge, they tore that thing up!I have heard lots of people say that u should turn off the pump so the roots can to through the sponge and not jus around it
Second pump?OK, so everyone agrees, get a second pump and a nice air stone.
Thanks, happy growing!
I have never seen a water pump in an AeroGarden. I have a AG6 and it came with an airpump NO water pump. That is what Aeroponics is about "AIR".Second pump?
Am I confused?
The AG has a WATER pump... we install an AIR pump.... which are you talking about?
there is no need for a second water pump, or a second air pump for that matter...
Check?!?!?!
I leave for weeks so two is better thasn one.yea you just need one nice airpump and you should be good
you wont even need the water pump after like a week or 2
lol...Go look....The AG comes with a built in water pump that pumps the water from the reservoir into the holes you put the sponges into. You can see the water running. If it isnt, your pump is clogged or broken, or off, due to the AG cycle you're running.I have never seen a water pump in an AeroGarden. I have a AG6 and it came with an airpump NO water pump. If your came with a water pump I'd like to see that.
Not saying they never made them but their site is all about air pumps in them. Maybe?
Peace
I disagree there is an airpump mounted in the base as I can pick up the bowl the water is in and there is no electrical to it, no water pump.lol...Go look....The AG comes with a built in water pump that pumps the water from the reservoir into the holes you put the sponges into. Hope this helps.
