well heres my set up so far. I think im going to have to fans for intake down below there, and two sucking out of the top for exaust( through the elbo ducting which im trying to decide wether should be flexable or sheet metal). The intake will have 4" ducting roller coasting around so light travel is deadend

Even if dampened with rubber washers/gaskets, the metal will still transfer more vibrations than the rigid insulation.

I personally don't care one way or another, but your contraption looks a bit ghetto, that might be why no one else has further responded.

Thats ghetto? haha, nahh, cfls in a cardboard box is ghetto, cfls attached to the walls by velcro is ghetto, cfls on plants with a y splitter attaced to a desk lamp is ghetto, a box with a single computer fan pushing air in on a 200w cfl let up is ghetto, rubber maids that kind of look like ufos are ghetto. This is a the start of a project. alright, just clearing it up.

But ok, i should go with the flex ducting?

I didn't say it wasn't sick. I love these McGuyver guys on here. I think it's sweet. I just think that little red bucket thing looks a bit ghetto. I never said it wasn't cool. =) I get a lot of ideas from the cats onhere doing micro grows.
