but i think i have to return it. on the top string, the E string, when playing the 12th or 13th fret, the string hits the 14th fret and makes that "noise". i know what it's called i just forget the term at the moment. there is no way to adjust the action so i think the fret needs to be filed down. i guess. :neutral: i need to go back tuesday to pick up the right case for it so i will let the dude look at it then. otherwise i like it. it's an acoustic/electric with built in pickups. i can take it anywhere. :bigjoint::bigjoint:

i got two acoustics... a 1943 Gibson j45 and a fender nice axe

theres no tension rod? or just no way to access it

can they fix it? i have to go back anyways and they are half a block away so it's no biggy. though i may have to get the black one if they can't fix this one.

sorry to hear that, you still have the bill, they might need to replace or adjust the bridge bud i'm sure they'll fix it.

mines sounds pretty bad because it's down so low on the neck. it sounds fine at the 11th and 14th but 12 and 13 are really bad. :cry:

i just looked down the neck. there is a huge hump in it. in the neck itself not just the fret. i only paid 200 for this one, i may level up a notch. look at the 400 dollar models. :hump:

yeah it's dried wood and it doesn't like humidity changes, temperature changes or tension on the neck from different string sizes.
my little brother is learning to play guitar and he had the same problem with his guitar.
oh, and if you can afford a better one then go for it.

My new ESP also developed fret buzz after moveing to a dryer warmer area....

Too lazy to adjust it yet...

Yep, if you can't adjust the bridge and there isn't a truss rod, that guitar has had it for all practical purposes. I try not to spend anything less than $300 when purchasing a new guitar; unless I am at a pawn shop, then the rules change.

Still, this loss may yet turn into a greater gain. There's nothing like scoring a guitar you can really connect with. :hump:

dude had NO high end guitars. i told him i had A LOT of money to spend. he looked at the one i bought yesterday and fully agreed it had a hump in it. he is sending it back to the factory. i ended up with the exact same thing only this one is a "johnson" and it was $22 more. he had 100 guitars hanging in there but they were all under 400. i like this one though, for now. :bigjoint:
