Help with spider farmers self watering bases

Has anyone used Spider farmer self Watering bases? I purchased a set of four and have loop them set up in my tent. I have not filled the reservoir or use it yet. My question is do you just add the nutes to the reservoir? And what’s the best way to go about giving them plain water if the nutes are in-the reservoir? Do I need to do any additional watering on the top to flush out salts? I have three plants going right now all in soil and I’ve been using advanced nutrients sensi line. I’m four weeks into flower.

I use wick bases and feed through mine with Jacks 321.
I do no top watering after roots are established.
You've probably harvested by now.....

No haven’t harvested yet, getting ready to flush. How do you go about flushing a bottom fed plant.

I see. Thanks
You can/should reduce nutrients as you near the end as the plant requires less...but stopping all together or flushing isn't beneficial unless you have a problem. The dry and cure are what makes the smoke smooth....flushing for that is now considered "bro science"

I’ve read that. Makes sense I’ve missed the mark and it was too late to flush. Had matured enough. Still comes out great as long as drying and curing goes as planned. Thanks again I will just start dialing back. Can’t be much longer.
