Why are my buds still the same size?

It’s week 5, day 6 for me. This is banana jealousy, a 60 indica/40 Sativa strain. My buds have looked the same for about a week and a half now. The flowering time is 8-10 weeks. I get I still have a little time but I thought the buds would be a little denser by now. I planned on flushing around week 7, I got the GH 10 part nutrients except ripen, I’m giving her everything the aggressive feed chart says but am I being too impatient? I read sativa strains take a little longer but man lolimage.jpgimage.jpg

All Breeder strain information is a GUIDE ONLY .

Your results will vary …. Your skill, environment will dictate actual finish and yield. Never fall for the harvest times listed. They can either be bullshit or from controlled breeder testing under controlled conditions.

TIP: Plant will finish when it finishes … no matter how long that may be.

Keep going , no flush , plant has weeks to go.

What kind of light are you using? What is the hanging distance? Ppfd?
Those are small buds for week 6...

My current crop at week 6.
Im running two 100w Vivosun LED (VS1000E) in a 2x2 tent.
80F lights on, rh 40%.
62F lights off, rh 68%

Using 1gl pots.
Black Gold soil mixed with 30% coco.
Dr. Earth (blood meal & fish bone meal)
Jobes 4-4-4 slow release pellets.
Water ph 7.5 (1 cup a day)

Sativa's take longer but the plant grows at the rate that the 3 legs of growing will support.
Lights. Can you get 800-1000 ppfd on this plant?
Nutes: looking good nice color but if pushing high led week 5 is where cal-mag issues happen. No signs at all.
Environment. Dialed in systems where the VDP is a strait line for hours just ignites growth. Hellocopter growers who just can not help but open the tent to move one flower 2 inches are the enemy of cannabis.

What are your temps? I’m in the same boat. Small buds 35 days of flower but my night temps are low 60’s at best. Looking good and got weeks to go tho!

My temps are around 76-78 max and my humidity is around 48-50% (lowest I can get it) and I try to keep my night temps around 70-71 until it’s time to start showing different colors towards the end. It might get as low as 68 but no lower

I’m using the vivosun areolightse 100w. In a 2x2x4. I think they may be about 8-9 inches away from the light, I haven’t had any light stress at all so I left it like that. Is it ok to raise your humidity like that during night time? I always wondered that, I’ll eventually upgrade to the Samsung diodes

My light maxes out around 800 ppfd but my plants are also 3 inches closer than the recommended distance. It’s supposed to be 12 inches away, it’s sitting at 8-9. So those top colas may be getting more ppfd. I’ve been monitoring them, no light stress at all. I can move my light up another 3-4 inches by zip tying it the top of the tent but they were still fine so I left it

I run 2 of the 150 watt versions in a 31x31. Very pleased with results and any problems that have come up have been all me.

You can always put another light in there.

The humidity gradually increases during lights off. It doesnt cause me any issues because the humidity drops drastically when lights off. High humidity is only an issue if its a constant. I also have a fan and exhaust running 24/7.

You were using 1 gallon pots for auto flowers? Is that the sea of green?

I did this with the 150 watt units. Using a very basic lux meter and some wire and zip ties I adjusted until I got a great level light pattern. I mount the light up at the top and move plants up and down as needed. Each step is about a 6 inch drop or move up.
The duplicate light pattern gives you a 12 x 24 that will go way over what you need or a 950 pfd/ 65k lux spread for about the whole tent with some areas at the edge down about 15%

They are clones of regular photoperiod strains. I dont grow auto flowers. Are you growing an auto flower? If so, that would explain a lot.

Some would say that my method of growing is "Sea of Green", but I dont think of it that way. Sea of Green would be a more appropriate term if I double the plant count and flower everything when they are much smaller.
