If it wasn't for all the fun activities, I wouldn't live where I do too. When I broke my back it was right after I bought this house and my wife was pregnant. I said to her if I can't ski we're out of here. I really thought I'd be in "my hell". I think if the only way you have to "deal" with snow is a chore and having to be extra careful walking and driving then yeah it takes all the fun and magic out of it. S.A.D. is a real thing. I get it sometimes. Hey it's close to spring. Only a few weeks left. Then mud season starts loli dont dislike it, but i dislike it here because i hate it here. so i think it makes me bitter ,
im lucky in that we move every 4 years unless we ask for an extensions so i dont have to stay in this horrific state much longer. If it wasn't for all the fun activities, I wouldn't live where I do too. We purchased a fullspectrum happy light that nearly simulates daylight - have it on on the kitchen counter before dark for a couple hours. It seems to help with S.A.D.S.A.D. is a real thing. I get it sometimes. Hey it's close to spring. Only a few weeks left. Then mud season starts lol

I've never tried that. I bet it'd help my wife.We purchased a fullspectrum happy light that nearly simulates daylight - have it on on the kitchen counter before dark for a couple hours. It seems to help with S.A.D.
Military doesnt REALLY give you a choice though, you get a rotation list rank it from 1 to whatever and hope for the best.Next time choose to move southwest! Maybe California or Arizona!
