SCROG - what if you don't?

Regarding harvesting:

What if you don't have a near perfect canopy, do you harvest the flowers at the same time or stagger them based on maturity maybe up to a week or two?

Not sure why it’s like this but there are plenty of knowledgeable people on here and it seems that back in the day a couple year ago people would offer advice a lot more willingly. Take care my friend your doing great and won’t have no problems with grabbing them buds off as there ready and opens up the canopy for more penetration.

With the lack of training and pruning down below, you’re probably gonna have a lot of larf type buds to deal with. My buddy used to harvest his tops, and then let the bottom buds go for another week or 2 before harvesting the rest.

Anecdotally - they do finish up and swell, and it’s worth it if you have the time. I’d definitively consider trying it in your case.

Thanks, I know a lot of people wouldn't recommend it but I'm pinching off the new growth underneath in their final 4 weeks and yes there are a lot of larfs - new word.

Why do you ask, isn't it obvious?
Since its missing the screen and scrog training, it isnt obvious.
Those are some giant healthy girls you have there, nice work! Dont often see multiple plants in a single pot turn out well here.
For reference this is a scrog.. Not mine but one from the scrog thread here

BoatGuy,

Ty re: giant girls. That pot has an air chamber in the bottom for drainage. I like it because I can spin it for maintenance and I don't have to water them everyday however to SCROG which is the canopy screen/net, correct? I'd have to attach poles and a circular support band - not impossible.

Maybe I don’t fully understand SCROG and why it's a trigger word?

Nice pic, my aspiration. Could that be one girl?

Seemed easier than trimming that shit out of the fencing
Good idea. Pros and cons.

My buds might start falling over so I think I'll plant 5' stakes around the perimeter every 6 inches or so and
make my own net like a spider makes a web.

I've also read where you have to be careful what materiel the screen or fence is made out of because some leave fibers on the sticky buds.
