Ac infinity or Spider farmer tent? 150x150x200cm tents (60''x60x80)

I’m from Europe, specifically the Netherlands. I currently have two (2x) Spider SF1000 lights and use them to grow peppers and tomatoes. Once the season is right, I plan to move them outside, so... I’m not looking to grow indoors permanently.

- I’m debating between two grow tents: the AC Infinity, priced at 300 euros, and the Spider Farmer tent, priced at 190 euros. The AC Infinity tent is almost 50% more expensive, but the warranty is better.

I’ve been checking options on Amazon.de and other sources. I can get the AC Infinity tent from both the Dutch and German versions of Amazon, while the Spider Farmer tent is available either on their own website or Amazon.de.

Can anyone help me decide which one to choose?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I am also interested in buying a inline fan/ Clip fans too. But will wait a little bit for these, maybe end of the month.

I have run a Spiderfarmer 5x5 it has worked flawless now for 7 runs in 3 years. I leave it up continously. I think that is were some people go wrong. ( I totally understand if you can't) but I feel taking them down and putting them up creates a lot of ware and tear. The zipper works great. I do use a bar of soap on both side of the zipper about 2 times a year. That just helps them run smoothly.

Should i buy from amazon or their original website? Do you think it will have enough room for 2 lights and a inline fan etc.?

To me a tent is a tent, as long as it has all the duct holes I need.

But warranty is a good selling point, though your only really using it for zips I suppose.
Anyway I can't speak for spyderfarmer as I've not dealt with them, I've also not heard anything bad though, which is worth something.

But AC infinity are renowned for their customer service and warranties.

So it's something to ponder.

That's true the Warranty is the selling point of AC which is good

2 sf 1000? Isn't that 200 wall watts? That's not a lot. I ran a sf 4000 in my 5x5 That's 450 wall watts. Before I got my HLG lights that is 720 wall watts.

I am planning to move them outside anyway when the time is right. For this season I am indeed using just 200 wats... first time doing this.

Basically got 2x a sf1000 (100 watts)

Oh I got you brother. I was just answering your question. You asked if a 5x5 would accommodate 2 lights, sf1000 times 2. I gave you examples of what I have run in my 5x5.

I’ve got an AC infinity 5x5 and I really like it. That said, even the tent that I hate, I’d still buy again, if it were half the price of my AC Infinity. There’s not much that will go wrong with a tent, other than the zipper. Anything else, duct tape will fix. A warranty is better served paying for electronics. Just my opinion. My bad tent is still up and running, like 5 years later.

SpiderFarmer recently switched to plastic corners for their tents. Personally I'm not really a fan of plastic corners, so that's a deal breaker for me. For what it's worth though, the plastic corner does look pretty robust.

I've never heard anyone say anything bad or even had a complaint about the AC Infinitiy tent. Their customer service is top notch too.
