DCSE needs to fix their website. It is the most painfully slow website. It's always been slow, but lately I get timed-out requests half the time just browsing around. Hard to purchase seeds when your website is seriously kinda broken...

I get this wonderful error screen all the time browsing the site

Here's an example of some craziness. 20 seconds to load a 100x100 image? A 522 is a problem with your CDN. You guys should fire them if it takes them that long to serve a small image. Why do people even use Cloudfare? Seems like hot garbage hosting to me...

try adding some Bob Bitchen's Beans gear for better results ;)

I don't know what to say. No other website gives me this trouble.

I have a few packs of your beans @BobBitchen! Certainly this isn't a knock on you or any DCSE breeder. I've purchased a fair bit from DCSE. But lately the customer experience has been horrific. One of the things I appreciate about DCSE is that often they're the only ones with a detailed strain description, which is why I like to browse the site.

The mobile is also super slow. I mean I'm posting what DCSE is serving my machine.. it's 100% their server/hosting. I am a software engineer, I think I know how to identify a slow website...

Man....I couldda used one of you guys a couple of weeks ago.
Slow website diagnosis comes free of charge. You want solutions, I charge by the hour.

Jk/all in good fun. I loathe front-end development. Services and databases are more my thing, and high-performance applications (modeling, games).

One of my rest services has to make 50-100 separate database calls to validate some data, and has an SLA of 1.5 seconds on the front-end. It averages 10ms because I’m that good.

"This site is maintained by a perpetually stoned human with zero website skills."
That would be me :).
