Just used this thing for the first time. Not impressed. Maybe I need to adjust the blade or switch it out to the pefrerated blade, but as stock, not impressed at all.

Oops .. buds are still wet , lol. Just checked..they're at 22%, they need to be at 11% they're In the make shift Cannatrol I made at the moment. One week down, maybe another for it to dry real good.

Alright, we'll let them dry out some more. We did switch the blade, seemed to help.

That's not encouraging hearing i hope after you've messed around with it you can get a satisfactory job from it.
I'll try it again next week. Maybe the just 5 turns both ways to get the job done was over hyped? I turned it way more than that. My dries are usually done within a week, but because of the cooler weather here might take 2 weeks to fully dry.

When I'm hand trimming I don't use scissors I prefer a skewer or pointed something, of you think about all that goes into opening, closing scissors 1000s of times each cut has to be aimed accurately so it's no surprise it's time consuming.

Using a pointed tool/skewer it's sort of like drawing full stops/periods on paper, you can sit your hands rested in your lap it's more a wrist movement and 10x faster and more a thorough job tbh.

Even horrible fox tails aren't terrible, on ave I can do 150g per hour that's a fraction of the time it would've taken me with scissor.

You should give it try it takes the sting out of trimming...obviously not that much I hear you say lol tbf ive a lot to catch up on.

Gonna try that stick idea! I like to trim by hand with a mate if possible, makes it much easier to blast through a batch

Hey bud yes give it a try and see how you get on.
I found some figures...120g + 145g 2 hours 20 minutes, I trimmed 40oz over two days tbh it felt quite leisurely like I wasn't trimming constantly for two days.

I got my trimmer I've had a look over it, it's better made than i expected, the trim job it made is ok considering it was only lowers.

It definitely makes a difference exactly what you're putting in there. And experience will help, yes. Those look great, I like the shag personally.
