I get nervous when it gets under 5 lbs in the cupboard, and keep a kilo of vac pac coffee in the emergency pack.
Mostly because I don't want to see my wife cry and bawl again when I said " Well, at least we have instant coffee."

I actually don't mind the trader joes instant coffee!
The 2 year old pre-ground bag of osco beans has gone too stale for me to even consider. It smells like envelope glue.

Envelope glue or no coffee at all, I think I’d try the envelope glue just to be sure it’s really bad.
