I’m about to pull the trigger on about $2000 worth of parts from Summit Racing to rebuild the 6.0 Lq4 from my Silverado. Taking the Block to the Machine shop on monday. Waiting for some high dollar micrometers(replacing the bad ass ones I lost in the fire)that FedEx is delivering today. So after accurately measuring everything today i’ll know if that $2000 from summit will be enough. All the bearings looked fine though. The bores measure round and straight/no taper with the bore gauge so we should be good.

Bought a fridge.....
damn 4 year old Samsung said bye bye, I'm not fixable :finger::cuss::cuss:.
My water heater said fuck you too. I got rid of my freaking Samsung frig all on my own. I hated that thing. Its' ice maker kept freezing up and all their models like that did and they KNEW it! grrrr

Anyway just finished installing a lovely tankless water heater so I'm getting hot water for Christmas. I smell much better but the dog's aren't sure about that.

We had a direct vented (up the chimney) ng hot water heater with high flow faucets that worked well and didn't require hydro. The Rinnai tankless hot water heater, combined with low flow faucets and 3/4" plumbing hasn't been as desirable - plus requires hydro to function. It takes 1 minute and 16 seconds to fill a 4 quart jug - whereas we were accustomed to about 4 gallons a minute of flow previously. Love the concept of on demand but don't relish washing my face with cold water every morning. C'est la vie.
