Pretty... and stinky... I've never had a plant in veg stink so much. I wish I was better at describing smells. It's like sweet skunk funk, offensive cheese and something rotten? (that's in veg mind you...) I love the extreme saw tooth bladed leaves. Certainly nails the skunk look.

Grows fast too. Done in 8 weeks. I have never seen this line throw a single banana but you gotta watch for mold in the colas at the end.

The fertilizer regimen used this time was a success. I'm going to keep working along the same vein. Best of all I think the pot is more potent this time. Just better quality overall.

I've grown out (last year) AG Skunk #1 and the flower is thick up and down the stalk .. one of the unique grows I've done so far. The smoke wasn't anything to write home about.. maybe I did something wrong or these are just meant to be grown exclusively outdoors? But, the smoking experience was something I tried in my teens from a bag with seeds in it, Mexican weed like. But it was pretty. Dam flower was drop dead gorgeous.

This line of skunk is very worked and later than the AG. Selections also were for potency.

That seriously is a beautiful plant. Probably the best skunk ive ever seen.

I've grown a few skunks from Sensi Seeds. Early Skunk, Skunk #1, and Super Skunk. They were some decent looking plants.
Dave Watson is behind the beauty of this old cultivar. It is a champion still. I knew from the beginning this was special because of its source.

The last crop had good vegetable matter consistency. The buds were pliant and spongy...but it didn't taste right to me...it just tasted like smoke. So I went back to an old school fert regimen. No recharge either. And this herb is tasty. A bud that quickly dried tastes better than the cured last crop.
I noticed a sign of quality too where some of the buds look velvety. The clone I had in 2015 would get that velvet look. I might have some pot here that I would like to enter into competitions. I have my personal feelings and nostalgia for the strain, it might be hard to stand out with some of today's terpy frosty champions on the table. In the end, no time and money to chase fantasies. I have too much work anyway. If I can finish this project and move on I will be overjoyed.

The photo on the AG site changed. What I saw. Last time I looked the sk#1 photo showed a squat plant with buds all along the branch. Before that they at first had a pic of one plant on a hydro table and it had the exact phylotaxy of my line which has a Christmas tree structure. When I saw the photo it was unmistakeably Sk#1 and I've looked at many plants that were dead ringers for it. I had no squat plant like what I saw on the AG site recently.

This is AG seed company and is very close to my line from what I can see. Very nice specimen. Christmas tree structure. I don't have the space to grow them that big.
Someone posted a photo of an AG that hermed on this thread. There have been some reports. With the early line I guess that's a risk you take. Original-Skunk-No-1-AGSEEDCO.png

I posted what I thought was a herm (was it here or at the Farm?)... and they looked carbon copy like this photo (at about week 6 +), there was miscommunication with the guy who sexed these for me. He told me that one of my plants was "suspect" as male. I paid no mind to it and forgot about it until I saw it sex out as male on the flip. So not fair to call it a herm at that stage of the grow when all it was doing was revealing it's sex.
