The 14th Amendment, which was ratified in 1868, states: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.” A constitutional amendment approved by Congress requires ratification by three-fourths of the states.
“I was going to do it through executive action but then we had to fix Covid first, to be honest with you,” Trump said. “We have to end it. It’s ridiculous.”

So simply being born there doesn't make you an American citizen by default anymore if he gets his way that's a bit messed up if I am getting you right ?

Yeah, I know that, but, I dont believe he can do an executive order, and bypass congress, in this case. It is still debatable though.
But, I have no doubts he will try, and from what Ive read, it will most likely be settled by the UNSupreme Court, which, I have ittle faith in, to do the lawful thing. Theyve already gone against precedents.

I agree, he is so full of shit. He just says stuff to say it with not caring if it really happens. He free flows like diarrhea of the mouth. He isn’t even provocative or interesting or reliable in his ideas because they mostly don’t come to fruition anyway. No use getting upset about bullshit. It’s the same old play book, like Kamala would say.
what’s he going to do about the border wall he started? That is a real physical thing. I haven’t heard any thing about working on completing the job.

You'd be right if the "birthright citizenship" were a law passed by congress. But it isn't, it only stands because of a previous executive order by a former President.

A president has the power to undo an executive order via executive order.

Birthright citizenship is guaranteed to most people born within U.S. territory (other than American Samoa) by the first part of the Citizenship Clause introduced by the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution (adopted July 9, 1868), which states:

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
The Amendment overrode the Supreme Court decision in Dred Scott v. So, wasn't an executive order.

Would this be from here on out or for everyone up to this date and on? Because.... That would be me, my folks were not citizens but my dad somehow served a full term in the US Army (Puerto Rican). They were visiting family (from my moms side) in Mexicali, Mexico. That town borders the US, when my mom realized it was time they raced towards home 1.5 hours away, they didn't make it and I was born just inside the USA. If not I would have dual citizen eventually but I've been here in California nearly my entire life (almost 60 years). And now this jackass Presidents phobia wants to kick us out?
