New here not sure why it happens. I use Holland secret from future harvest used this for about 6 years now. I grow in coco coir drain to waste hydro I guess it is called. I have a five gallon resivior with filtered tap water resivior stays clean and nice until I start using their carboblast third week or so into flower and I start getting white slim on airstone which eventually plugs up my pump. I water every hr a bit with a little bit of runoff. I do have a fair bit of experience and thought the carboblast may help.

Growing in coco is hydro only plants in soil need food for microbes.
Thanks for reply I kinda figured that but they all seem to sell these supplements for hydro also see microbes for hydro do they have any benefit then or are they just taking my cash? Are there ways to make it taste better make it smoother in hydro.
Sulphur helps with scent, there are people who mix hydro and organics. But since I use nutrients that are formulated to feed the plants directly without being the byproduct of microbial break down they seemed superfluous in my chosen method. Ok well I guess I may have some organics i do reuse my coco coir I do clean a bit of roots out sometime I do think I get a fair yield. The hydro nutrients are ready to be taken up by the plant where as the organics need the microbes to make available? I was just wondering now be cause I did have a clone from a plant it smelled they same sweetness but did not taste as good as the first one.
