The Nordic ski areas beat the alpine mountains this year, at least in my neighborhood. Early tracks this morning. I threw down a mystery dose brownie heading out the door that started kicking in after the first lap. Perfect. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Just got back from a one block walk. Best gloves still numb fingertips. Wasn't prepared to resort to mittens yet!

You should try battery heated gloves. Or at least try a hand warmer on the back of the hand under your gloves.

Real feel: not frigid...

Low was 31, headed to about 60. Need to load the dishwasher the rest of the way and run it plus do at least one load of laundry. Other than cooking I'm taking tomorrow off no matter what, I've earned it.

Nice respite from rain, we need bunches more but a little sun is appreciated for awhile.
Dishwasher is running, halfway to my goal for the day. A lot more spoons were used than usual.
