Sensi Seed Bank -then and now.

I know there has been a lot of change at Sensi Seed Bank. I used to see them as the building blocks vault and now I am wondering what is still available, and what is but isn't the same, for instance, people say the Jack Herer has different parents and isn't as good. And that the Afghan #1 isn't the same.
Many strains are gone? like Hawaiian Indica and California Indica too I think. Do they sell the Nl#5 x Haze anymore? Maple leaf indica is still around when I recently checked. Been dying to smell it for years. I gotta know is it the one of my youth??
The fruity juice I don't know if it's around still. So what of the old stuff do they have and is it good? I hate to think of Silver Haze being replaced by cookies hybrids. What is the low down and scuttlebutt on the beloved Sensi Seed Bank these days?
P.s. Are there great Jack Herer cuts available for those willing to risk plant diseases? I just checked their website. Much is available.

I just read the new catalogue description for Sensi Skunk and remembered the seed packs the pig people took from me. I want to grow it now more than ever. Is it good? I always figured it was Maple Leaf Indica x skunk. What do you think?

I know one thing ..I bought ten packs of seeds from a California company, and I could have bought all the Sensi Seeds stuff I've been jonesing for a long long time. I feel dumb for that now. Because some of the stuff I really wanted then....and I really want it now. I've never grown a Sensi Seeds plant the cops didn't take and they took 3 packs from me too.
I want it all! Jack Herer, Fruity Juice, Mothers Finest, Nl5 x Haze, Silver Haze, Mexican Sativa, Hindu Kush, and I want above all I think to grow Maple Leaf Indica just to smell it. I'm sure I missed one or two but you get the idea.

There Hindu and maple leaf indica is still decent there jack is hit or miss for the price of it now but you can find nice phenos still if your lucky there are plenty of decent jack crosses out there with other companies using old stock too

Getting the jack herer regs to the US is a pricey gamble for sure. If they stocked them on the US site, I'd snatch em up real quick. And I totally agree it's a lot easier to find really nice jack crosses than hunting through those expensive sensi packs. Just so happens I have 5x Critical Jack Herer (delicious seeds) girls that just went into flower today.

Aye shame sannies is shut there jack was decent alot cheaper too don't get me wrong the best I ever smoked was sensis but it was older stock but I know a few folk who have found decent stuff in the more recent seeds

I placed an order with sannie's back when it was f6 I think? Got snatched by customs so I never tried again. Definitely a shame. You can find threads out there where people were like, "well this is odd my sannie's order hasn't moved and he hasn't responded..." then come to find out dude had passed away. RIP

As I recall sometime in the early 90s seeds banks quit Shipping to the US. I had to go to Dam and purchase seed and send them back myself in 96. I spent 5 evenings in the shop. That is where I saw the first vaporizer shown in the video . I filled it with super Skunk. I asked where was Nevil and got funny looks. Now looking back I guess he was a fugitive from his home country.

Idk if he passed away or just hung up the towel I've heard both so who knows

I done a bunch of nl5xhaze packs in maybe 10 years ago and although there were some nice hazey phenos there wasn't anything like the cuts that used to go round. I think I spent about a grand looking through them over a year or so and I was disappointed

Damn yeah that don't suprise me you be better trying to source the A5 or crosses or a good old Nevils haze or hybrid of it

It is my opinion that the old varieties Skunk1 and Afghan1 which I gorilla grew from 85 into the 90s is gone. The seed that I sent back from Sensi in 96 just was different. At the time I couldn't see but now looking back it is clear. After seed was first offered for sale in 85 High Times adds more and more varieties started to appear. With the addition of these new varieties and growers handling more strains mistakes can be made. In addition I believe that the genetic information in the original strains can mutate on their own. Nothing stays the same forever.
