Hey y’all, I’m in the market for a new light for my 5x5. I’m looking into the CLW SX 820, along with a few other brands. Anyone with experience with this company care to give some insight on them? Thanks!

Have heard lots of bad things about this company An on the site it says the unit weighs 16lbs? What the hell is it made of, my 3, 8 bar lights all run around 40 lbs each.

Thanks for the input, I’ve seen mixed reviews. It’s made out of aluminum. I would prefer to buy from an American company. I see some who swear by them and some who don’t. But I can’t seem to find the exact reasoning behind why they don’t like them. It’s never bc the lights just straight up failed on them. The Black Friday deal for the 820 is hard to pass up especially for the wattage for the price. Also looking at the MedicGrow, GrowPros, Spider Farmer, and Mars Hydro.

They make all their stuff in southern california, even pick and place their own boards in house. They stand behind their products. Nothing but good with CLW as a company. George and Craig are solid dudes.
