Just got back from a 4 hour rip. It is the last day for a while as I have gigs for the next few days, then we get into the 20s temp wise. Gotta get back into exercising indoors, gonna set up the ski machine and Total Gym in the exercise room. I really dislike exercising indoors, it just feels like such a chore. I like when exercise is incidental and fun is the main point, like biking or tennis. Oh well, such is life. Glad I got all this biking in when I could. Looking forward to this week, traffic should be pretty light with everyone leaving town. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

It's this recipe I wanted to sub out the strawberries for:

Go for it, I'd love to hear what you get.
The freeze dried strawberries worked well. I got out what I needed last night and let them passively rehydrate in a bowl. They had a raisiny texture when I added them.20241125_080035.jpg20241125_080845.jpg

Mornin’ y’all,

Chilly AF this morning. Frost on the ground so busted out the big coat. It’s sadly that time.

The most glorious of all weeks. Come Wednesday afternoon, America closes and it’s fabulous. I won’t get any calls or emails from Wednesday lunchtime onward. It’s the most wonderful time of the year :)

They look so good! My blueberry scones are all gone. Apparently they hit the spot with the hub LOL. I'd definitey eat one and I bet that concentrated strawberry taste is amazing. I just finished freeze drying a batch so I'm going to try it.

I whizzed them up a bit in the food processor. I realize now I could have fit more fruit but 170g of freeze dried is a huge volume. I'll go for 100g next time.20241125_081923.jpg
