My favorite place. Been going there my whole life
I love that place. So much better than Yosemite. It’s like so much more
Relaxed and so cut off from all the hustle and bustle. Watching the waves pound into the rocks is mesmerizing. It’s easy to get disoriented when in that area with the winding roads and staring at the ocean from above. We stayed at the lodge and it was really nice. Super quiet and big room. We did some awesome hike back in to the this canyon ares on the way home and then all around the coast. The redwoods back here were amazing. This park is north of Big Sur. Have you been there? Not unlike many of you, I’ll sneak a few nugs of each strain and cure in smaller bags to check at the halfway point. Big bags carry on for 8 weeks. This is GG4 at 4 weeks cured, so I’ll be tuckin’ into this tonight. Hopin’ the smoke is good….

Go ‘Murica! You can do it!

I have one plant left to harvest. It was outside during the 100 degree days of October. Looks like it's just about ready.

The new crop is starting to settle down and grow. I suspect I got a bad batch of Pro-mix. Usually my plants would be a lot further along after 2 weeks.
I think what happened is the 100+ degree days killed off the mycorrhizae in the pro-mix. I will add some when I up pot.

I have this one mutant I call Skeletor. The parent plant from this one had some mutated leaves also, albeit a different mutation.

I have! I grew up backpacking and hiking with my family all over Big Sur(and the rest of California).

My dad lived in Big Sur for a couple years when he was younger, a place called Deetjens Tavern, it’s basically part of the history of the area.

We’re planning on spreading his ashes up there this spring/summer

It be a snowy, windy, ugly day here. On the bright side I got quite a bit vacuum sealed today. Photo of a dog who takes his frisbee too seriously View attachment 5438116
I had a Border collie once, smartest dog I ever had. Taught her to jump through a hoop, took about 15 minutes. She used to ride on my motorcycle with me. She would sit on the tank between my legs. Miss you Tippie.
