People pay 20+ USD a gram on the streets here. One of the main reason for all the gangs flourishing are the overly strict drug laws.

We've had gritweed(weed sprayed with glass shards) and in the recent years we've experienced fake hash that contain 0% Cannabis. Spice mixed with henna and other oils, it's a real mess. Luckily me and my friends haven't had to buy anything in decades but I hear other people talk.

They sell already blown BHO material for full price. Friends have come to me with products that seemingly look decent but has no effect.

I wish I was joking but I'm not. 15+ years ago you could find an ounce for 1.5-2K but that's long gone since they prosecuted all the native growers.

Now there's only shit quality and all the bigger gangs have total control. Its really weird that you can live in a country where medicinal Cannabis is somewhat legal under EU law but very illegal by the countries own laws.

It's like the federal government would be on your side in America regarding consuming the herb, it's utterly weird!

Probably mids, not even close to what you talk about just a second before, and the exect reason why it was so high in price and why it's so low now.
The quality was there, sure the risk was higher but not enough to justify the price, it was more because what you got was killer ass dope that people paid in your own words, even for the trim of it, I agree, people used to buy the trim from me too, today people will think your insane haha why is that ? Because their bud is mids so how can they even imagine smoking the trim
I smoked all that "fire" in the dispensary and telegram and whatnot, fire... A joke.
I have a good friend in TX, she used to smoke PK with me 8 years ago, now she tells me she looked everywhere, nothing come close, no matter the price.

Yeah if I want quality I know I’m paying at least $270-300 a zip.. but you’re right top tier quality has gone way down. A lot of it is small producers have went to work for commercial facilities, and Asian illegal immigrants have filled that void. They do not care if it’s quality or organic as long as it’s decent looking.. commercial growers also off load their boof into the black market so not to tarnish their brand.

The folks in non-legal states or other countries don't get it. When supply exceeds demand...I don't care how good you THINK your weed is...there's nobody willing to pay stupid prices for it. There's just too much around to command such pricing. But...there's a sucker born every minute. I'm guessing these guys are like the guys who say that 73 bag isn't full melt and "sessile" trichs won't get you stoned.... LOL. Oh my. Is it because they CREATED weed or what and the rest of us never knew what "good" was for all those years? Hahahahaha.... try againz.

I started growing during the 70s RKS days when getting caught with a couple joints would get you serious jail time risk was high so was rewards. Here there was a few sweet years before legalization of rec. when law enforcement was told not to waste resources on “just weed” but the when legalization and big business grows became the norm all but the guys who hung with ya since day one quit coming around and it’s never recovered I hung on for awhile thinking they will get a dose of big biz dispensary weed and comeback but eventually I shut down all my rooms except for the few loyals and personal use the amount of risk, supply and demand have always ruled the business (remember the profit from bales of Mexican?) but now little risk, too much supply and little demand created $100 zips no matter how top shelf your product your day is coming too I had a good run glad I am not needing to pay bills with the $$ now…. Mushrooms anyone!!

The risk is still there if you get caught speeding. Not many do these days...but the laws for "sales" didn't change here in CO one iota when MMJ and Rec hit. In fact...yer now stepping on the new drug dealer in town's toes (the State) if you sell illegally.

Same here on the >good run< gig. It was so much fun not being able to keep up with demand even when you expended yer space a few thousand watts time and time again. Pounds...not ounces. Just a different time/game/etc.

This is a nice cover story people like to tell themselves, nah bro, demand for weed never went down, only up, the buds are just not worth the prices of old times, period.
I used to buy 10 grams of Purple kush for 300$ and I was happy because that was killer dope that got me tripping for at least 2-3 weeks as you need so little of it.
Today understand that anything you grow from seeds will never be comparable to the old elites, you wonder why your getting such a low price
But don't wonder, are you holding elite clones and getting 100$ oz for them ? No way.
Mostly grown from seeds, which will always be mids with today's "breeding" practices
And if clones are the issue, you don't hold the exect elite clone of that line because no one in their right mind will give you a cash cow top elite clone not for 100$ and not for 1000$
Now I know it's hard to admit most people grow fake clones but have to keep the fascde going for their rep and sales, real smokers, the ones who lived the glory days of weed knows, if you sell under 300-500 oz, you have mids, you know, your customers know it, hey, it's what they paid you..

I'm near Chicago, and you're right, the dispensary prices are crazy. I thought that alone would keep up the prices in the black market. It has not. But here the dispo weed is all fire, but so is the black market weed I've tried. Some custies let me try their other plugs' weed, it was awesome at $100 ounces. My kid gets pounds mailed from Cali, the light dep outdoor is surprisingly good for $700, but the indoor pounds are fantastic at $1000. He is getting it off for $100-$120 an ounce, better pricing for smaller quantities. It seems no one is really attempting to poach the dispo custies, probably because no one wants to risk fucking with the State's income. I'm sure they are coming down hard on that shit. What a situation...

Handing out my little sample packs is going pretty well. I went to the UPS store the other day to pick up two 5 gallon jugs of House & Garden Aqua Flakes that I ordered from Amazon, and the guys told me to pull around back because the box was so heavy. I took the opportunity to ask the two gents if they enjoyed cannabis products, and they just looked at each other, winked at me, and said, 'no, of course not!' I then explained that these were bottles of nutes for my cousin who is opening a dispensary in Michigan, and that he is looking for customers to which I will deliver locally (my cover story and way in to these opportunities.) They were hyped and took the packets and put them in their cars. Today I went to a oil change place and chatted it up with the guys being my charming self. When the dude who was obviously was the manager went inside to help customers, I ran the same game on the other workers. They were like, 'Hell, yeah!' When the manager came back in the told him this guy is handing out free weed samples! He eagerly took one and gave me 25% off the oil change. And all this in an illegal state. I only had 3 packets, so I promised the other two dudes I'll be back soon with their packets. I'm gonna grind until like this until I build back up my client base, hopefully. Good start though. By the by, one guy said that he gets his ounces from a Michigan dispo for about $85!!! Fuck me in the ass, $85 at the dispo. This may take a while...

I share my greenhouse crop with friends and acquaintances. I barter some of it here and there.
Cannabis is like corn these days.... No shortages. Big operations are super efficient at pumping out obscene amounts of product.

If your still making $ in the black market, enjoy it while it lasts. Cannabis will be legal like alcohol & tobacco, in most parts of the world. Its only a matter of time.
