No kids last night, kept the lights off. Used to try and play community participant years ago, spent $30 on candy had two giant bowls sitting in by the front door. After 5 hours of nothing I had answered the door 3 times, two of them for free range teenagers, and still had two full bowls of candy.

Tried the next year, same results. Haven't tried since. My wife took our munchkin out to other neighborhoods that had more activity when she was little, now that she's a teen she's on her own. Everyone down here is scared of their own shadow, couldn't communicate with another human if they tried, more than likely are fundamentalist loony-toons, and are convinced everyone is dosing Fentanyl into all the candy and therefore mall-or-treat and trunk-or-treat on Halloween and 'super hero day' at school are the only safe options to protect the kids from evil sex offenders who live in houses I guess and Satan. I loath the south so much.

So yeah I used to love Halloween as a teen when I could let my freak flag fly, but now..... I'm just as bitter about it's destruction as I am about every other holiday's existence. Next up, drunk grandpa biatching about politics while celebrating the wholesale slaughter of people and colonization of the continent over dry fowl... yay.

Maybe I should dose some mushrooms today, too.
Sad. Yes for the shrooms.

... Its strange. I´m attending funeral tomorow. My father asked me to help carry coffin of his second wife. Wtf, I didn´t even like her. Actually no one did. I´m filling a flask with brandy right now. Can´t say no ...
I have been asked to carry coffins of my kin on both my side and Mrs. S. side. Some were liked ... some were not liked ... and some we had not even crossed paths. You are right, you can't say no.

But I realized after the funeral for one of Mrs. S. uncles from the northwest side of Milwaukee (a someone who had not crossed paths with me ever) that I am not asked because of any sort of spiritual connection to or any devotion for the deceased. I am asked because cause I am 6' 2" and am one of the few family members that can lift and carry that box.

Yup ... it was simple logistics!

Yes, you are right. I´m about same height as her son and look good in a suit. :)

Edit: Thank you all, I know I will be O.K. tomorow.

I have been reading every single post on a thread that is 222 pages long. Its all about vintage Sativa genetics. One grower has been preserving genetics since the 70s.

Fascinating stuff. Apparently the sativa landraces produce better bud if they are grown on the outside perimeter. If the flowers get too much intense light they start to throw out shoots, like if its going back to veg.

I have 5 TLT Malawi Gold seedlings. I will be putting clones in the flower room in January. Trying to read up and prepare, so I dont mess it up.

Its been really difficult waiting for this to cure. The jar smells like a fruit salad with hints of chocolate.
Valley Ice pheno #2. Foxtail flowers. The purple has turned lavender. I traded some of these f4 seeds with @shnkrmn for Silver Haze beans. Hopefully you find a keeper. If not, I can send more seeds. I have hundreds of ripe and fully cured seeds.

That's glorious! I definitely will grow that.. I hope you got good germination from those SSH beans. I've had volunteers show up in my recycled mix ever since last fall.

I'm working on long term grow infrastructure, once I'm done I'll be able to handle more strains without chaining myself to growing. Automation is where the fun is.
