We actually had .64" of rain last night, first time in months, it's typical however. Not supposed to get the kids wet this evening thankfullly. Gkids are coming over to get prepared to collect their bounty in the neighborhood.

I used to keep the lights off and the music low on Halloween to avoid the trick or treaters, but that only stopped about 75% of the door bell ringing. Now I just hang a sign on the front door that we don't participate because of religious reasons. Not a single knock or door bell ring, it is beautiful. Funny how people respect anything you do if it is for 'religious reasons'...
