I finally purchased the ebike I had my eye on for months. The price finally fell to Black Friday prices, plus they threw in a $90 basket AND I had a discount code for another $50 off! It is a 52v 60 amp hour battery, and many YT reviewers have taken on a 100 mile range test with only the throttle. It is basically an electric moped that does 30+ mph. Down from $2000 to $1350, it was impossible to pass up. It's gonna be super fun...

Yeah, it is SO expensive to travel without owning a car. The few times I have car trouble it costs hundreds of dollars to take Uber everywhere you have to go. It's like $50 to travel less than 10 miles sometimes. A long range ebike is probably your answer, check out FB marketplace in your area. You could probably get one for $700 or less this late in the season.
