Struggling to control humidity

I’m 2 weeks into flower and struggling to control humidity it’s sitting at about 65 but fans are running at full power. I have 2 600w LEDs in a 1.2 x 2.4 meter tent with 8 plants in it being fed about 20L a day.

The outdoor humidity where I am is quite high and I don’t think it’s helping, taking my intake from the lung room near the open window. Tried putting my dehumidifier inside and outside my tent but seemed to do better inside. Posted a pic of the dehumidifier below

Have a 6” intake and 6” out take on an enviro 4 controller and a dehumidifier that’s meant to extract 15L water a day but only does more about 4L id say.

Any tips to lower the humidity for the next week once I hit week 3 flower would be good as don’t want it to humid and end up with bud rot or mould

Dehumidifier looks a little small, whats the /L per hour? I have an ecoair and its awesome.
It’s meant to be 15L a day but I don’t feel like it’s doing that tbh, I’ll have a look how much does an ecoair take per hour?

Do you put your dehumidifier on the inside or outside of your tent?

When was the last time the front mesh got removed and cleaned as they clog through time and then it just does not function nearly as good

I’ve not cleaned it tbh I’ve only had it for like 4-5 months should I try giving it a clean?

My frigidaire 35 pint keeps my rh low enough, 41rh. 38 when things are in my favor IE plants just so happening to transpire less or a dry day outside but a good 41-43rh on a 90rh day. The more packed the tent the less it will work because the tent is building moisture faster than the exaust can pump it out to condition it to be dryer while pulling in even dryer air.

Idk I feel like thats a good advantage vs a grow room. I do similar things with temps, if Im wrong then why can my tents be cooler and drier than the room air sometimes. Transfering of loads. Idk thats all I got lol. Hope it gets resolved.

how did you control conditions before? Is this your first grow?
I was in a different spot before and the dehumidifier wasn’t needed, just in this grow tent it’s quite humid ducting from the window plus the area I’m in it’s close to 90% outside

but I’ve put a lot more into this set up, this is my first one with all the good equipment I need

Sounds like you will need to invest in a bigger dehumidifier unfortunately.

I got botritus on healthy plants that never saw rh above 50%. Its when the colas grow too tight node spacing idk how it dont just pop right out from all that pressure lol. Ive had about a pound in a tent no mold with rh passing 65 often but the buds wherent growing into eachother so it was fine.

Some canopy fans may help but I dont use mine I gave away. Now starting to rethink that lol just those fans. Damnit I was sure they didnt do much but the anxiousness ya know lol.

If your venting to the outside an have high RH outdoor a dehumidifier is pretty much useless it will never catch up because more humid air is getting pulled in when you vent.

Ya but are you venting to the outdoor an sucking in high RH air for fresh air?

I vent air into the room from outside if its cool enough to cool my room or I use ac if its that season. When its mild like 75F out and 75F in the home and 85 in the grow room I turn a vent in the door on as thats all I can do it does slow it down it takes all day to reach 85F.

To answer yes I do its all I can do as is without any more money in minisplit. It can be 90rh outside or 85rh in the home but like I described the same thing happens to the room like it was a tent. It raises it sure but after learning about co2 I think its good to do.

I cant exaust outside during summer it ruins ac by a few degrees or several. This has been working so far after spring and summer, this is the easy part its 73F in grow room now as fall/winter comes. Ill even need a temp dial to make sure it dont get too cold. Hope all this is still on topic I think so.

Thats what iam saying if one cant control temps an rh with venting its time to seal it up an run dehuy, ac an co2 but venting with any of these 3 is chasing ones tail.

This will be the peak of the humidity id say with all the vegness of the leaves
Prune them as well
Keep the fans on w
24 7
If your worried later in flower could flush them last 2 weeks hope the leaves go yellow at the end they will fall off
That will drop the humidity as well

For me you don't need a thermometer or hydrometer
You can tell by the heat and your nose fornthe humidity
If you turn your extractor fan off for an hour or 2 pop your head into the tent
It will smell danky
That's how you get bud rot
It should be fresh air in there

Cheers mate I was sort of thinking that going to give them a good defoliate in a few days come week 3 and air flow will be better, hopefully improves humidity a bit. Aye mate I have a controller controlling my intake outtake, dehumi and fan heater and circulation fans running all the time at full power, but thanks mate will keep that in mind about flushing
