Spyder farmer 6" exhaust with a 4inch intake?

This is hell I've just bought a 6" Spyder farmer with digital controller for my exhaust in a 1.2 1.2 2.0 tent however I've just realised I can connect a intake to the controller but I've also just realised spyder farmer doesn't do 5" fans? Only 4" is a 4"? Enough for air intake in that size tent?

It’s not exactly clear what you’re asking, but if you take a trip to your local hardware store’s HVAC department, you can find all sorts of duct parts, flanges, and reducers to cobble something together and make it work. I always prefer to get the bigger sized fan and put a resistance dial on it than to buy the underpowered unit and regret it later on and wish I had the bigger one.

Is a 4" intake fan enough airflow

Are those measurements in meters? 1.2,1.2, 2 - So a 4’x4’x6.5‘ ? It'l mostly depend on your heat and humidity. If your tent is too hot or humid, you’ll need to move more air. You can always turn a larger fan down with a controller, but you cant make a weaker fan stronger.

Correct yes meters the point here is I want to use the spyder farmer digital controller with both 6"outake and 4" intake but is 4" intake fan enough for that grow space and I'm using a 600w led

A 4 " intake would be fine you could probably get away with a passive intake with that sized tent.
Maybe but I'm not going to take that gamble I need this grow to be 100% successful I can't believe spyder farmer don't do 5" fans? So my only option is 4" or another 6"?

It should be fine and move enough air .
I only run 90mm ducting for my air extraction for my two 1.2mtr² tents

A 4 inch is good enough for 1.2 if it's on constant
Suppose a 6inch would get air out quicker if it is turning off and on
Both will work
Make sure your tent walls isn't being p20241028_014550.jpgulled in with the negative pressure
That can turn a 1.2 tent into 1.1 or 1.0
And reduce your yield
I've been filtering about with these have a couple 4 way tee pieces on the way

Simple trick to avoid the tent from crashin in is to put a cloth hanger behind the vertical poles plastic one might break though.. and make sure the edges wont puncture youre tent

I've started using this a week or 2
It's not perfect like but tie a bit of string yo the branch it's tidying up my edges nicely
Turn all the plants round the borders were the plants meet would be tidy asf

Very nice mate, i wish i was any good at runing soil. I run hempys exclusivly so i cant tie my plants down as i have to pull them out almost daily.
Its a lot of work and my yield suffers, just that i cant keep a plant happy in soil and kind of have things down in hempys..
Just germed a 10 pack a couple days ago and a couple popped up the riot plugs, went to sow them and realized i was out of sufficent perlite for all of them.
Thought about going soil as i have a few bags of happy frog but i dont dare do so..
Sorry for the rant..
Ill put your advice to good use though and tightly wrap some form of string or yarn around the poles just minus the door..
Thanks for the advice man.. very apeciated
