Desperately need help to clone this pheno

I have an outdoor plant that is finished and I want a clone off of it . I’ve never re veg’d a clone this far into flower . Here is a picture of the phenotype .

Do i treat it like any other clone , or any special nutrients or advice ? Really don’t wanna lose this pheno , as it’s absolutely gorgeous .

Probably get two cuts and leave one in the crisper drawer to try again if the first clone fails, this happened to me but luckily I made a small and a big clone, and it looked like the small one ran out of gas at the end and died while the taller one (about 8 inch cut) actually made it, maybe too late to suggest tissue culture?

I wish I had a tissue culture kit or access to one ..

For important stuff I'd dig up the root ball and put it under lights 18/24 hrs light and re veg it
Or air layering it if re veg isn't a option?

Air layering ime is the most reliable method for rooting plants late in flower, basically you're rooting your clone on the plant then cutting it off after it roots.

What are you filling your root balls with? And how much water do you add?

Hey, they're root riot sponges but you can use rw cubes, coco, soil etc.

I use these convenient gadgets for air layering but clingfilm/saran and a sponge/cube work fine it's just a little fiddly.

Idk how much water I just wet the spondes/cube then every now a then give it 5ml in the top.

I have a box of these but I have never used them. How long do they take to clone? I watched a video of a guy using these yesterday and his went moldy. Do you have any issues like this?

No bud I've not had any problems with mould ever, I can't see how mould could come around there's not anything encouraging for mould, maybe I've misunderstood?

Hey all, I have some fruit trees that I would like to copy. Curious if anyone has any suggestions? I havent had luck with propagating them. Wonder if clonex will work? FN

There's a bit info here, it's been a while but from memory 10/15 days with a wire strangle.

I found the strangle wire makes a big difference to the rooting time jfc it could be unrelated maybe I was just overlooking something but previous to it i didn't have great success?

Monster gardens sells a tissue culture kit with the bare minimum you need and they also have a video where you skip most steps and go straight from tube to rooter plug, what I got from it is the labs make it look scarier than it is

Just treat it like a normal clone. Throw a few cuts in your ez cloner, Just revegged some golden sands clones from my outdoor this year myself

I have an ezclone 128 with no dome . I can keep humidity dialed to whatever I need . Right now they’re in a root riot plug with a mix of clonex , and Roots exculerator . I’ll add a tiny bit of bloom bites to it when I change water out in 3 days “this has always sped my rooting up by as much as a week or more .”


I just wanna save these genetics . I figured I’d end up with a few herms , growing outside / as I got the seeds from bag , of another grow that SS’d . I picked 100 out , trusted my cousin to root the clones and it didn’t work out for whatever reason . Now I’m stuck at harvest , trying to get a few to root . Worst case I can buy more seeds / I believe one place still has them in stock , and hunt them again / but kinda a pita when I know what I’m looking for already and have it right in front of me .

I Clone only I. ROCKWOOL CUBES inside a Humidity Dome, I set the Thermostat to 77F for the First week. I use T5 for My Mother Plants and just put the Dome outside of the Tent. I remove the Dome a few times a Day. I used to use a EZ Clone Machine but I literally have 100% success rate using ROCKWOOL Cubes I believe they're 1.5 Inch Cubes. I soak them in 5.5 PH Water. I obviously use rooting hormone as well. T5 Lights are great for Mother Plants.
