I rebuilt ( cleaned really well ) 4 old zebco 33’s this past spring. I had a conversation with a old man and a younger guy at the boat landing and the young guy laughed at my old school gear so I told him it was good for 30# before I had to start playing with them and he boldly laughed again, that’s when the old man spoke and said he will catching fish with his gear long after the damn fish have swim off with the guts to that over priced girly shit you’ve got.

The old saw me give two twenty + # catfish to a family and was pointing and laughing at the young guy. I don’t know what kind of day they had but my refreshed reels worked great . I did find some parts on eBay but I don’t really need them yet.

They don't make stuff like they used to that's for sure. Young guys are the worst. I call them Internet fishermen.

Last day on this river for brown trout salmon and sea are till November here nice wee wild one he got to swim away too

That's looks great man nice pictures we occasionally get it where I'm at but our Highlands to the north and the further northern isles are the best places to see it over here

It was a wild show all night long. We were camping pretty far north in Ontario.

Season doesn't close for salmon and trout in a specific river here. Weird year. No big winds or weather, water still very warm. Makes for tough fishing.

That's interesting I don't think we have any rivers over here that don't have a closed season at least for a lil bit anyway nice fish man

Ya very big river. Considered part of the lake in the zoning. No closure for salmon or rainbows but there is a closed season for Lakers, bass, walleye, muskie
