Best nutrients for indoor growing in Happy Frog soil

I'm looking to get new nutrients for foliage.

My current nutrients are 3 years old and I'm thinking I can probably do better...

Water supply: well water, no Fluoride, no Chlorine, some Iron: already filtered (planning to run it through a PURR filter, just cuz). Adding 7 drops / gallon hydrochloric acid to drop Ph to ~6.2.

I'd like some expertise on what the most experienced recommends for nutrition and more plz.20241005_212141.jpg

Been using unfiltered well water since 2018. In 2019 I switched from Fox Farm to the Remo line and have been happy with the results.

I may switch to their Elements in a couple weeks cause I am almost out of the liquids.

Happy Frog would be a great base, and the right nutrients can really bring the yield! That's a great organic route in itself, and Gaia Green is amazing using earthworm castings. Since you are already making changes to the pH to 6.2, that will assist nutrient uptake. Just watch your iron levels because well water tends to be kinda finicky sometimes and leads to iron toxicity in plants. Well done!

Thanks, I think I will run it through the PURR filter. The whole house filter stops most of the iron but hey! My girls deserve the best.

I always liked Espoma, cheap, no BS and works well. I would mix 50/50 with EWC or compost and top dress.

They do like a small amounts of Fe ... Mg ... Ca ... Mn ... B ... some of the goodies found in unfiltered well water. You sure you wanna filter that stuff out?
That's the dilemma. I already have a whole house filter but that PURR filter will strip it even more.

I need to look up exactly what the PURR does...

OK ... gotcha now.

We use a water softener and I am able to get my water from the softener bypass valve. Is there a bypass before your PURR?
I tapped into the supply line for an outside spigot so it's actually bypassing the whole house filter.

Sounds like the water filter would be good for removing iron particulate, but not dissolved mineralsScreenshot_20241008_124031_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20241008_123917_Chrome.jpg?
