How do I 'ground' a tent?

I'm running a Mars Hydro in a 2x4 area and the light specifically says to not touch it while it's in operation. I try not to.

I'm still in veg and I've cranked my lamp up all the way that it can be cranked, I still have another 2feet of vertical space that I intend to use, so therefore I'm going to have to outfit the tent with some sort of new rig system. My concern is that the tent poles themselves will be in direct contact with the lamp. Am I at risk of potential shock or electrocution? If so, how do I safeguard against this?

You're far and away more likely to have an electrical fire than some sort of electrocution mishap. Don't worry about electrocution if you're not dicking with opening up the driver or messing with wires.

Definently get an extra fire extinguisher and smoke alarm though. Every grower should.

100%. Extra fire alarms in and or around your grow area.

It's actually not in the manual, it's a sticker placed on top of the lamp. It was peeling off so I removed it, but it said something to the effect of "DO NOT TOUCH LIGHT WHILE ITS ON"

I've read complaints online of people who own Mars Hydro growlights alleging that the devices can shock you while they're turned on. Some from this forum itself, for example: https://www.rollitup.org/t/whos-having-problems-with-mars-hydro.1031186/ When I first got this lamp, the driver would make 'clicking' noises after it'd turn off for the cycle. I contacted MH and they said it was fine. But, I'm skeptical.

Second this. I'm actually considering some kind of fire suppression system for when I'm not home.

It's because the heatsink and driver can get quite hot when run at 100%.
I have two Mars lights, they've both been trouble-free for a few thousand hours fwiw.
