Should I chop early

My outdoor strawberry cough, grown in 10 gallon fabric pot with ocean Forest and Fox Farm nutes. She had been flowering for about eight weeks. Lately I’ve had to remove parts that were starting to get Bud rot. I was debating on taking now to avoid anymore mold issues.. I’m just looking for some opinion on what would be the best way to proceed from here.

If it were me I would spray every 2 days with Zerotol, which leaves no residue and can be used up to harvest. Stuff is a game changer for outdoor growing for me. I almost always get some bud rot here and there in my outdoor grows, thats normal. That plant needs a couple of weeks or so, the hairs are almost all white.

Its a game of how much can you cut out without going insane. Bud rot is going to progress. Pay attention to the acceleration (i.e. every day its 2x worse) then make a judgement call on when to chop.

Is yield or quality your preference? I choose quality and remove a lot of colas just to get that last half of the plant to the finish line, sacrificing half my yield. I grow for family and friends though, and if money is your game you have a different set of choices.
