How close to harvest?

According to Seedfinder, I should be close to harvest in my climate. But based on my eye, I'm like a month from harvest.

I have a thrips issue, so I don't know if I can wait a month with harvesting, also it's cold and rainy and windy and.. moist. So, open to opinions!

(It's a Frisian Duck and a Frisian Dew, outdoors, in soil, fed with organic Biobizz, bonemeal, worm castings, etc)

Yea those have a bit more time. Are you seeing any mold, budrot or powdery mildew?

Sometimes the "finish date" when growing outdoors is just when you're cutting out moldy buds to let the plant go as long as possible. Once you have had enough of throwing buds in the trash, it's time to take the whole plant down.

I have not, both strains are supposed to be very resistant, so I hope that's true. I will keep it going then and keep my eyes peeled. Thanks for the info

Inspect them every day and when it shows up, it's time to make decisions on when to chop. Definitely try to keep them going 2+ weeks, it will be worth it.

I spoke too soon. Inspected today. This looks like budrot, right?

Yea bag and chop a bit below the mold. Happens to everyone...and it's time to get paranoid. I'd comb over the plant to check for more.

Sadly yes gutted mate bag it before u cut out the bad bit to help limit how much spores you spread when ya cut it out it's(bortyis) brown n slimey in a wet environment and grey and almost powdery in a dry one
I didn't know of the tip with the bag. So I might have spread spores, we'll see. :wall:

I'm giving them a thorough inspection tomorrow. I just don't know when to chop. After 1 bud has budrot? 2 buds? 3? I guess the weed would still be good even if harvested right now

Chop as late as you can withstand it. I've removed half of one of my plants and it's still not done.

Had to remove two more buds today. :cuss:

On the plus side, I found this really pretty looking bud on the Frisian Dew, for some reason the backside of the plant has more purple in the buds. (Less sun?)
