Mornin'...

Thanks for the share @tyler.durden . Gotta say I've not tapped into her music. Fucking old people. I love that she actually plays instruments...LOL. Some of these folks...um...nah. The cool thing is that we all like something different for different reasons and are drawn in via our own tastes. I try to stay out of the mainstream and find the best stuff hidden away in the shadows. My favorites are usually one man band gigs where the artist plays pretty much everything /all instruments themselves in their bedroom/home studio/etc. Homage with that personal touch. Take the past and recreate it into your own thing. There are so many good bands/artists that few heard...it's nuts. Then you turn on the radio and it's money-driven dreck or some sampled shit... LOL. I'm glad I grew up when I did.

Another sunny "fatten those bitches up" kinda day here. We'z rollin' hard. Wasn't gonna hit em again with the love but...yeah...there's 2 weeks of sun comin' and the party isn't gonna end for a bit here...so they got their last hit of micros/P/K and we're just gonna stand back and watch the stiicky come on bigly...

be good to yourselves out there...
have you heard of shovels and rope? we caught them as an opening act for jason isbell on new years eve in louisville in the "before times" so not sure what year it was. we had never heard of them and our minds were blown at how they were playing all the instruments, trading them off, singing and harmonizing. instant fans.

Scrolling up I can always tell your pics before I see your name.

You have some lovely views around you!
I usually try to plan my week of work around eating lunch somewhere nice every day. Not for efficiency or logic.
I marked that work order, "incomplete, awaiting parts." so I could come back today for lunch, lol.
Now it looks like I'm getting the billing done before the end of the month, instead of smokin pot in the sun.:eyesmoke:

Turning myself into trim jail this evening for a 2 day stretch. Ya'll know what's up. A great day for it, actually, as it is raining and gloomy. Couldn't ride my bike, anyway. I did yesterday, it was glorious. Getting a new ebike soon. It is really just a 30mph moped that goes 100 miles with no pedaling, just throttle. I want to be able to go into Chicago (30 miles one way) along the lakefront as the Fall colors come in, and just relax and ride. A little reward for all the hard work this summer. I deserve it...

Agreed - you deserve it!

We loved our Honda moped (shared resource with 4 bros) as a teen - went to see my girlfriend, rode trails and transported beer once 19yo. Scavenged for 7 pop/soda bottles (@$.10ea) in the ditch for tank of gas that lasted 60 miles +. Good times, fond memories. :bigjoint:

I trimmed my living dead plants today. Haven't weighed them yet. I think I need to automate the watering to ensure they get better taken care of. Too many bright shiny objects for my son to keep up with them. I have pumps I can use for supply and drain, just need to rig something up. I'll figure it out.
