Went to pull off a yellow leaf, the branch shaped off. Where the branch came out of the stalk. It look like dried wood.

It looks to be Bud Rot/Botrytis Fungus aka Grey Mold, a common killer of crops. Especially any that are close together and in humid in environments. you need to check the rest of your plant for any similar looking leaves or budsites.
looking at your other post this morning mentioning catapillars and other little bugs eating your crop, I'd say the botrytis was caused by them eating and burrowing into the plant, which then allowed the mold/botrytis to form in the wound. It spreads VERY QUICKLY so it needs to be addressed as soon as its noticed.
