2nd real grow in progress. Harry Potter Dursley style in custom built under stairs room. Temp, humidity, vpd have been reasonable close to ideal. Had some early seedling struggles, so about 2 months in veg, roughly day 23 of flower. Fox farm soil and trio nutes. Barney’s farm critical kush and white label Acapulco gold. Water with ph6-6.75 every 2-3 days alternating feeding with half dose of recommended FF dosages. Run off has been always been roughly .5 ph lower than what was inputed during watering/feeding. Lately run off ph of plant has been 5.5-6(so bigger delta) and have started noticing brown spots and discoloration on fan leaves of 1 plant. Have heard that FF nutes can cause browning and rust speckling but wanted to see what growmies might think this is and how I could remedy?

besides the fan leaf discoloration please let me know if you have any other thoughts or questions about my grow! Thanks!

Looks like a hungry plant to me.
Magnesium, potassium, maybe nitrogen too.

Might just need to bump the nutes up a bit, if you say you're at half and you're going feed / water / feed / water.
Do you know your EC? That would give a good indication.

I don’t know EC, as I have never measured that. Guess maybe I should start

It's definitely a handy tool to have, takes a lot of the guess work out.
I recommend getting one for sure.
Best investment I've ever made in this hobby is a Blue Lab Combo. Even if you can't afford one, it's worth forking out for one imo.

I looked @ the FF Trio feed chart. Notice the total EC is up to 3.8 at full dose one of those weeks.
Crikey that's high!
I don't recommend full dose, maybe 3/4 max.
Recommends feeding up to twice per week.
Maybe increase feed by keeping it at half strength, but go feed / feed / water?
That'd up the nutes a bit and get you to 2 feeds per week.
Drain the pot well when you feed. If you get a good response, you can decide where to go with nute strength then.

Good luck.

That's complete BS, they want to extract as much $$ from people as possible. Lets make a feed chart we think will use as much product as possible and not fry plants.
A high percentage of successful growers here run 1.2-1.6EC start to finish.

Concur, shes hungry. Looks like she needs nitrogen and phosphorus. maybe a bit of calcium, but that will be taken care of with a healthy feed.
I feed every time, with runoff. Never water only. Works for me.
Happy farming everybody :blsmoke:
