as a DBA and on my free time I plant trees, vegetables, pumpkins, corn and cannabis.

I grow outdoors in a country which recently decriminalized cannabis up to 6 plants. It's hot as fuck right now to I need to learn to cope with 37C. Shade cloth is doing wonders, cannabis doesnt need all light from the sun. Temperature is much more important for outdoor.

This is one of my crops that hermied due to excess heat (black plastic heats up a lot I learned), I used sand, some compost and cow manure and called it a day.

I also run a chicken coop which is also illegal, but a minor offense :)

Welcome!

Yeah heat can be a killer.

That chicken at the top left looks more like an Eagle, lol, so you're obviously doing something correct with the chickens, hahah!

It's a pity that it's illegal to have a chicken coop where you are. I raise quail, I used to have chickens they were fun too.
Do you have your plants in the ground or in pots? Growing them directly in the ground(if that's possible for you) helps to moderate the heat, a good layer of mulch also helps quite a bit with heat.

Have fun!

thanks

it had tons of seeds, I think they can only have XX chromosomes when cannabis is a hermie. Now I can start germinating and see which one grows the best.

I could smoke a few joints with the flowers. Removing seeds and husks is a pain in the ass though,

at the end of the day, they eliminate spiders and scorpions in the area so its good for the community

I just hope neighbors from the building by my side wont complain the chicks are being noisy around 8/9 AM (sometimes sooner)
that usually means they're about to lay eggs

I could grow in soil but I'd either have morning sun or afternoon sun. I like to have them in pots so I can move them around

Plastic pot sucks, so I am looking for alternatives. Clay pots are great for many reasons (including literature motivations) but my wife promised she would sew me some fabric pots... maybe Ill end up with coco fiber pots, theyre great for orchids

shes not the largest, but other birds are either young pullets or barred plymouth rocks (very gentil birds), therefore Margarida is on top always

growing weed has been decriminalized (up to 6 female plants), and I was recently considered a medicinal patient (I need CBG). So I have less chances of being arrested, at least I hope so.

About the chickens. I found out I can have 14 birds and call them my pets. So we're good!! :hump:
