Does anyone know how the Lowryder strain is able to flower without changing to a 12/12 hour lighting like all the other strains? Do you think that there is the possibility that all strains will be able to do the same in the future? Wouldn't it be great to buy all the diiferent strains that are guaranteed to be Females with 24/0 or 18/6 hours lighting that is ready to harvest in 8 weeks and insect resistant!

It has some ruderelis in it. Ruderelis has a auto-flowering trait. It is really possible to do this to any plant, i dont know if it would be as effective as Lowryders considering the extensive lengths proffesional breeders go to.

Can a Newbie tell when a plant goes into flowering without the 12/12 hour lighting change? If a person can tell when the lowryder is flowering and they switch over to a 12/12 hour lighting schedule, will this help or hurt the final production?

the bonus of the lowryder strains is that they can be flowered under 18/6 light. theres no need to turn to 12/12. staying with more light hours allows more photosynthesising and more buds. sure lrs will bud under 12/12 but with their fragile yield anyway, you should really go for as many light hours as you can

i dont think they do at the moment, but theres countless other sites offering more standard lowryder hybrids; lowryder, lowryder #2, masterlow or power stout. just do a google search and youll find some places.

dr.chronic sells lr and lr2

What type of lights do you recommend for the lowryder strain (MH, CPL, HPS, Combination of Bulbs, etc.)?

im using a 400w hps for 12 hours and 145w of cfl for the other 6 hours. i have to move mine because its in the same room as a 12/12 flowering female...

however, i do know that they grow perfectly well with cfls only, so long as you mix the spectrums around a bit
