Powdery Mildew - What’s your hot take on treatment?

Just seen the pm starting on my outdoor. I sprayed with doctor zymes and it's gone. Going to have to be on top of it now and spray once a week. Now I remember why I stopped growing outdoor. Lol.

I’ve used Lost Coast for the last few days and it seems to be knocking it back. Agreed that it’ll be multiple applications now that we’re getting towards cooler weather, but worth a shot

Hey gang,

Like every year, looks like I’ll lock horns with Powdery Mildew again. Yes, air flow is good (I’m outdoors) and humidity is typical for a Toronto summer.

I’m also about 4 weeks into flower. This said, I’ve heard it all and likely used some combination over the years. What I haven’t found is a solid assist in the remedy. I understand that once you have it, it ain’t going away, so what’s the best treatment?

Feels like Potassium Bicarbonate might be my safest bet. It’s only on one of the six plants, but we all know….

Yeah, that’s a no-go up here. Approved for Commercial Agriculture but not Residential use. No ZeroTol, Arber, Regalia etc. It’s home made or Lost Coast here in ‘ol Canadia

Lost coast, dr zymes. Same diff.... Citric acid, enzyme, wetting agent. Dr zymes way cheaper. I think lost coast has peppermint extract that's the only diff.

I was getting dr zymes from indoor growing Canada. They don't seem to have it anymore tho? I'm sure it can still be found somewhere

I am going to test regalia and zertol next year. I am considering using both simultaneously. I also have to figure out if the fungicide regalia is subject to a tolerance buildup. I get powdery mildew ever year. I had some success delaying it last year with purecrop. I also started using alcohol to clean my scissors and pruners. I grow outdoors and I really don't think that powdery mildew can be stopped outdoors completely ever with any treatments only delayed.

Thats the key here hold it off as long as possible seems once I get the cool nights mid 40s pm just seems to stop spreading

Zerotol will take care of it! I have had friends spray it every other day with no ill effects, once a week is about the most I have had to do and I have even washed freshly harvested bud in it so there were no surprises in the curing jars later on.
