Hey gang, collective two cents since y’all are pretty darned good at this, if you don’t mind.

This is a 7’ tall 5 Alive at about 4 weeks flower. She’s due for a feed this evening. As you can see, the bottom third is really yellowing out. I’m guessing because this thing has gotten so obnoxiously tall, it’s pushing its resources up. The lower bud sites themselves are green, just the ancillary leaves down there are fading.

Feeding has been Maxi and alternating waterings with Silicate. Opinions? Musings? Criticisms?

I top dressed with manure, added another cup of 4-4-4 when that started during stretch.
Thanks for the feedback y’all. Appreciate it much! Everyone out there is due for a feed in the morning, so I’ll do that first. Still have some EWC kickin’ around so we’ll do a little top dress also. All the other plants are fine and no issues. Just the one that’s displaying this behaviour (the sativa, naturally)

Holy Hell (literally) that is HOT @Jeffislovinlife . No thank you. It'd be different if it was like AZ where it's actually warm in Winter...but nope. The Midworst gets it all. I grew up/lived in KC til I could GTFO...heehee. I made it 22 years...

I don't miss KC at all. Those 80F mornings with 95% humidity suck, suck, suck. And ya thought runnin late screws the day.

A bit cooler here today. 75/52F. One of these days it'll be cool enough to start thinking about firewood. Like you and your meds...if we wanna be warm here we have to go out and slave and put up firewood. I ripped the gas furnace out of this house on day 2...and the only formal heat is a ceramic wall heater in the bedroom and 2 wall mount space heaters that we rarely use because of the wood stove. Lotsa wood out there...LOL. Oh my.

Re: Yellowing plants. Pretty natural stuff when they hit flower and change focus. I took off a bunch of yellow crap a few days ago way down low and midway in the center of the plant. Big, yellow fan leaves. I may have eased up on the N a bit much here trying to control the s-t-r-e-t-c-h...but I gave em all a hit of chicken poop tea a few days ago so we'll see if they green back up any. If not...they are on the ride. They will do what they are supposed to do.

I've kept the 22% shade cloth down all season so far. With 5 days of sun coming though...I may >roll it up< (pun intended) and let em fry for the duration/til the chance of rain returns. I may lose some weight overall by being lazy but I always grow too many enough plants to ensure I'm covered...and then some. LOL. Old habits are hard to break.

Anybody else mostly organic in their fertilizer approaches? I ran chems/hydro for years and years but am full-circle/have been in dirt since I moved here and stopped slinging lbs. I love mixing up stanky stuff and the girls love eatin it up...LOL.
