Most service employees don't break the federal threshold to pay taxes, so I see no reason not to point this out over and over again until he is forced to either flat out agree to just have it on service workers or say that there is a max on it so CEOs just don't use it as a loophole.

Maybe I missed something, but if you meant my post that is no longer there by 'he' making the statements, I thought it was obvious I meant Trump and his scams and nobody else, much less ppl posting on this site. I really don't think anyone here has the ability to get Trump to change his policy to add in 'for service workers' in Trump's tip tax scheme to help the megarich bonuses.

No biggie though if you did think it was me name calling, but if so it was unintended on my part and I apologize. You have a good morning too.

What if I called someone a flubbergoosebatboofer? Is pronoun use better than adjective use? Can we use names not used by George Carlin to describe someone? What if it is a loving romantic name? Is there a list of names we can't use somewhere on this site?

I think geese might not appreciate being mixed in with bats and then there's the entire boof thingie you got going there!!

Srsly for a moment, politics is a tough subject to have respectful conversations about so we gotta be really careful about the shade, no matter how clever or funny it might be it isn't really conducive or nurturing of a respectful conversation, thanks guys.

You called another user Cleetus. I don't see how that advanced a respectful political conversation. We have to get back to comity and that means all sides have to be polite if we are going to do this. Otherwise Politics simply becomes an unusable cesspool of name calling.

threats and doxxing arent the only rules. maybe brush up on them.

We arent soft we arent letting people shit sling name calling and making this place so toxic, its been changed, you can go with the change or not, but you know what happens when you do not.

sorry you cant get past the days where people allowed this, we know its hard to change, but we believe deep down an adult like yourself can follow rules of not name calling

The meme you posted seems to give the impression that VP Harris could change the law to allow people that collect tips as part of their pay not have to pay taxes on that income.

The VP has no authority to make such changes in the law so that meme is misinformation at best.

Such changes are made thru an act of congress I believe so even the president can't just make such changes with the swish of a magic marker. Those markers aren't really magic like a past president seemed to believe they were.

There again. She was never put in charge of the border. Her job was to deal with the leaders of the countries the immigrants were escaping from to slow it down from the source. Then they go all fascist like the GOP wants to do in the states and we up here in Canada are going to have to build a wall if they pull off a miracle and win in Nov. tRump totally melted down at his presser again today. The whole GOP is freakin' out and trying to get him to STFU and talk about politics.

We're gonna make tRump pay for the damn wall too.
