Can an autoflower seedling handle pre-fertilized soil?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please tell me if I can put an autoflower seed directly into store bought pre-fertilized soil? Or do I need to pour a little lighter soil in the middle for it to sprout properly? For photo's I've seen people recommend using a light potting mix during the seedling stage, but I'm wondering if that's necessary for autoflowers too.

Thanks!

You will read a lot of choices on the net.
My reading leads me to autoflower don't like to be transplanted.
I use Coast of Maine Soil with lobster and add worm casing, bat shit, chicken shit and more lobster and crab shells.
Plant them in this and let them rip. I just water for first 3-4 weeks

Yes they can. This is growing in Yellow Bag Miracle Gro. I planted it directly into the soil.

Thanks! Also thanks for sharing those pictures. That looks like a pretty small growbox, like I am planning myself. Would you tell me how high your growbox is? What size pots do you use and how high do the plants get with them?

Sure, the smallest tent is a 2ft/2ft @ 160cm high I have 2× 3ft/ 3ft tents and they are 180 cm high I'm growing autos atm in 3 gallon fabric pots I can flower 4 to 5 in the 3/3s the 2/2 I can veg 4× 3 gallon you could also veg 4 ×5 gallon pots also. AS far as plant height that depends on strain whether it photoperiod or autoflower etc. I do alot of plant training (lst) to keep plant canopy at the height I want. Check out ebay there are grow tents everywhere online

Here is 5 autoflowers in 3 gallon pots in a 3/3 all lst to keep heights low, they are short plants anyway. You can get great yeilds in small tents if like me you are space restricted, good luck!
