Is it just me, or does Tim Walz look like Dick Cheney, but somebody moved his switch from evil to good?
He actually reminds me of my old DND grade 3 teacher Mr. Murchie, oddly enough. Mr. Murchie was a Spitfire pilot in WW2 for the RAF and would play taps on the bugle for the class every Remembrance Day. I have no clue why this came back to me after watching a couple of vids of Walz, but it's a good thing.

Actually, now that you mention it, Walz does resemble my 12th grade English teacher.
Who was famously loud when he got into arguments with students.
You knew shit was going sideways in his classroom when you heard him shouting “Buddy, I’m begging ya!” all the way across campus.

One time, he took my homework answer, and wrote it on the board.
“Who can tell me what’s wrong with this sentence?” he asked.
Nobody raised their hands to answer.
So he went up and down every row, asking every single student what they thought was wrong with the sentence.
Again, nobody had an answer.
That sentence stayed on the board for an entire week.
Every single one of his classes, for the next week, would be nothing but him repeatedly grilling students on what was wrong with my sentence.
I mean, in your face, with his face turning beet red, kind of screaming at each class, over, and over again.
Think Sam Kinison from the movie “Back to School” but in Tim Walz body.
I quickly became the most despised person at school.
I’ll never forget the looks on the faces of the other students when they emptied out of that classroom.
It was like they had just stepped out of a war, blank faced, in shock, with their souls crushed.

The next week when we came back the sentence had been erased and he never mentioned it again.
So after a little while, I went to him after class, and asked him what was wrong with my sentence.
His response “Nothing, really. I just realized that it was the wording of it that was bothering me. There was nothing wrong with it grammatically.”

Is that a good thing or a bad thing ?
