This prob isn't the right place but since we take care of bugs on our outdoor plants with all safe stuff, I figured it would be best for my question.

I'm in the North East we get these Noseeme's they are like half mosquito half gnat, that they are in swarms the second you touch the grass especial at dusk. I have a dog that is super comprimised health wise after getting attacked and come back to health so I need things as natural as possible.

An clue? I have mosquito pellet things on the way for gnats in my tent. Neem oil? Anything quick and safe? I can't put any lotion on her until she's healed.

FYI-smoking next to her always gets her a little hungry and that was what helped her start eating again. So it's sort of bud related.

Thanks in advance. If this is in the wrong spot can you direct me?

You're looking for something to spray on your outside foliage? On the pot specifically or just surrounding vegetation or both?

You need to research Bifenthrin. You will have to get a sprayer. It is safe once dry for pets and people. One application lasts about a month.

Yes dogs don't need to get high.
As for the availability of Talstar in some states. Legal here but I would figure a way to get around that. The op will have to make a investment in some tools. Backpack sprayer battery powered and fantip nozzles. I sometimes use a respirator on breezy days. Next educate himself on the calibration of the sprayer and measuring the area to be treated. It will take an investment and some time. His other option is call in a pro. Who would most likely apply Bifenthrin with a sprayer. Additional treatments will be required. Don't think it's a one and done. I blanket spray my lawn for insects 3 time a season.

Yes at that point I’m paying someone.. I mean I have a sprayer but nothing professional. Soap and water to kill the little red mites on the concrete lol

I have spider mites in the front hedges. I want to say neem oil was used.

Okej just wanted to say it.because it fucks their liver i think
It’s not that it’s ‘toxic’ to dogs per se but dogs have more cannabinoid receptors in the bran vs a human so the effects are compounded vs us…a little could get them super fucked up.

For mosquitos and gnats, Bifen I/T works amazing and is similar if not the same that professional mosquito control companies use BUT it literally kills everything, honeybees, flies, ants, etc. I spray it our yard but avoid the gardens and plants that attract pollinators. I am torn spraying this but we couldn’t use our backyard this time of year without it, even slathered up with deet…dang skeeters swarm your face.

Another more organic option is spraying a diluted garlic oil solution. It doesn’t kill the insects but is a deterrent.
