Nope just make sure not to move it till she heals. 3 days or so and it should scab over. Should bounce right back

Awesome should I tape it up or let it ride? That split is almost thru to the other side of the inner tissue

You could,I just like it to air out. I used a zip tie just not super tight on mine and It was the main stalk broke from storm and healed right up. It's amazing what they can take.

Look up grafting tape on Amazon. Life saver. I find big breaks dry out and a hole can remain where insects or bacteria/fungi can enter. With the tape, it'll heal over completely and become a huge knuckle.
